Not only are we specialists in honeymoon destinations, we can also assist the modern day couple who already have their home set up already by organising exclusively for our clients the Oliver Travel Honeymoon Registry service at no cost.
Because many of today's couples already have much of their house equipped prior to marriage, one idea to consider is a Honeymoon Registry. This works in much the same way as a bridal registry provided by many major shops, however instead of purchasing items as gifts, your guests instead make contributions towards the cost of your honeymoon. Infact many guests we've dealt with love the idea of a Honeymoon Registry - because it means no walking around and around shopping centres 'tearing their hair out' trying to find the ideal gift - instead they simply decide how much they want to spend and contact us.
Once you have decided on your honeymoon destination, we can organise registry cards for you to include with your invitations to your guests (the registry card colour can be matched to your invitations). Your guests are able to contribute any amount of money to your registry, with a gift card being sent to your guests to include with their wedding card to acknowledge their contribution. All guest contributions are kept confidential, and monies collected on your behalf can then be put towards your arrangements. Should you be lucky enough to collect more than the value of your honeymoon, we will provide a refund cheque for the difference with no strings attached.
Another option to consider is to give us a 'wish list' of optional luxuries to add to you chosen honeymoon. That way, if one of your guests is a little uncomfortable at just giving money, they may instead wish to pay for something off your wish list.
