FEMALE tourists visiting Greece should wear comfy shoes, with new guidelines for ancient Athens artifacts which strongly discourage high heels. "Female visitors must wear shoes that do not wound the monuments," an official said. Of particular concern are stilettos work by women attending a range of musical performaces at the city's archaeological cites over the northern summer.
